Mark’s path to financial planning began far from the world of finance. A former scholarship athlete on UMBC’s Division I Tennis team, he initially pursued passions in sports and journalism. In 2003, he founded The Mid-Atlantic Sports Digest and earned the USTA Mid-Atlantic Section’s “Outstanding Media Coverage of the Year” award.

Later, as VP of International Strategies for the Premier Basketball League, Mark traveled globally, including negotiating the contract for Thailand’s first professional basketball player, Ratdech Kruatiwa, to play in the United States.

His inspiration to pursue financial planning stemmed from deeply personal experiences. In 2012, he witnessed a beloved family member’s retirement savings vanish due to illness and the financial uncertainty affecting others. During this time, he encountered a financial advisor who spoke in complex terms that only added to the confusion during an already stressful period.

This experience became a turning point, inspiring Mark to take a different approach—one rooted in clarity and empathy, while equipping clients with the confidence to make informed decisions.

Mark has dedicated the past decade to guiding adults in building a secure future for themselves and their families as they’re approaching or have started retirement.

Believing in the importance of flexibility, Mark crafts financial solutions tailored to each client’s unique goals. This personalized approach ensures every plan meets their specific needs and aspirations, creating a secure foundation for their financial future.

Mark’s mission is to help his clients create a reliable income stream for retirement, free from the constant worries of market fluctuations. Together, you’ll create a strategy designed to make your money last a lifetime, providing peace of mind and financial confidence.
