A Personal Path to Retirement Planning

Mark’s journey began far from finance—as a Division I tennis player and journalist, he learned the value of communication and perseverance. In 2012, Mark watched a beloved family member’s retirement savings vanish after an illness, and realized how overwhelming and confusing financial decisions could be—especially when explanations made things worse, not better. Determined to offer something different, Mark founded Wealth Diversified to guide Maryland adults approaching or living in retirement. He provides education and straightforward solutions to help navigate these transitions with greater confidence.

Over the past decade, Mark has guided adults through the retirement transition, focusing on reliable income, investment planning, and making complex topics understandable. Mark previously held a Maryland real estate license and attained both a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and NAR’s Green Designation, furthering his understanding of seniors’ housing needs. His earlier career included founding a regional sports publication and earning national recognition for journalism, as well as international work in professional basketball. Today, Mark is known for his diligent, client-centered support and passion for helping local families feel prepared for what’s next.
